Can we implement Zkarma on Farcaster? Zkarma is like Zcash. Zcash transfers money privately from one account to another. But Zkarma would transfer accumulated *likes* privately from one account to another. If we can, it enables the pseudonymous economy. See: https://twitter.com/ATabarrok/status/1400890663386767363

I would say the whole point of karma/likes is that those things are not easily exchangeable for cash, and it's that friction that allows it to have different mechanics.

Yeah, I compressed it down for a tweet — but if you recall the pseudonymous economy talk, you don’t necessarily need to *transfer* 1000 karma but can share a zero knowledge proof that your other account had >1000 karma. So that preserves the reputational aspect of karma on both the main and pseudonymous accounts.

also, karma/likes should drive utility (non-financial). over time, it leads to some sort of reputation/social capital. but important to prevent sybils in the beginning, sleeper agents are still tough to defend. Eigentrust allows configuring trust heuristics if things go bad. some raw thoughts on reputation for web3.
