Can we implement Zkarma on Farcaster?

Zkarma is like Zcash. Zcash transfers money privately from one account to another. But Zkarma would transfer accumulated *likes* privately from one account to another.

I would say the whole point of karma/likes is that those things are not easily exchangeable for cash, and it's that friction that allows it to have different mechanics.

Yeah, I compressed it down for a tweet — but if you recall the pseudonymous economy talk, you don’t necessarily need to *transfer* 1000 karma but can share a zero knowledge proof that your other account had >1000 karma.

So that preserves the reputational aspect of karma on both the main and pseudonymous accounts.

also, karma/likes should drive utility (non-financial). over time, it leads to some sort of reputation/social capital. but important to prevent sybils in the beginning, sleeper agents are still tough to defend.
Eigentrust allows configuring trust heuristics if things go bad.
