Onchain maximalists listening to me explain that you don't need to be onchain to be decentralized.

Often the most decentralized of all is software that's running on your laptop/phone and never leaves your laptop/phone

eg:

* draw.io
* locally running llama3/qwen/stablediffusion
* text files (for notes)
* mp3 files (for music)

my favorite example of decentralized vs onchain is the legend at Apple who embedded the Bitcoin whitepaper in macOS

despite being removed (lame) -- it will live for a long time on millions of laptops and desktops around the world which can't or won't upgrade beyond a version of the OS which still had it
