Good screenshot essay Challenges for rev share tokens 1. Almost certainly a security in the US (under the current regulatory environment) 2. The protocol needs to generate actual revenue That said, assuming regulatory gets solved you'll likely see that become the dominant token use case.

if you gift these tokens to users rather than them buying them, potentially no longer under howie test accredited investors can buy them in bulk upfront this should be fine if the app/product/protocol has revenue potential

More seriously you can issue LLC member units onchain with otoco.io You can choose to have the member units tokens freely transferable or only after your approval, if you choose to issue the latter then you have reasonably tight control of who holds your revenue coins/tokens Set up a splits contract so that a share of your onchain revenue automatically and programmatically distributes to LLC member unit holders (some manual work on K1s but manageable)
