Thinking about Boom One of the constraints imposed on Concorde, which British Airways and Air France flew transatlantic back in the day, was that it could only fly supersonic over water because a sonic boom over land could literally shake a home or disturb livestock Is Boom only going to fly routes over large bodies of water (Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean etc) or are we going to be subjected to sonic booms as part of general ambient noise going forward?
