Has anyone managed to get the newly implemented digital nomad visa for Italy?

From Italy originally, currently live in NYC

I think you can't avoid local taxes though there might be some separate incentive that isn't linked to the visa

I know Italy has an option to exclude tax on global income (outside of Italy) for a flat fee per year but it doesn't apply to most people

Pretty cool, does the visa scheme require you need to pay taxes in Italy?
