Feel so vindicated after seeing like 10 different "montessori but not actually montessori" schools and constantly complaining that they're doing it wrong, to actually go see one today that's doing it right and has predictably great results.

Big step, glad you found somewhere that fits your kid's needs How did you suss out that the others weren't following the Montessori model? Are there any obvious signs?

@matt is the best resource here, but beyond simply asking, the ones doing it right have a completely different atmosphere. More calm, more focused, more independent. Very much you know it when you see it…though YouTube videos might help you develop a feel beforehand.
