If I'm understanding Zora's new cointent play, it's that NFTs were the canonical media token, but then to aide wide participation in a specific media asset required fractionalization into ERC20s but that came with its own baggage, so now media is automatically an ERC20 from day one

With a 721, there is 0 liquidity, unless someone wants to buy the token from you. 

With 1155s, liquidity increases, because it’s easier to sell at a lower price, and there’s a secondary market for being able to choose who to transact with 

Liquidity pools offer an automated liquidity option, so anyone can sell to the pool, rather than another person
