I've noticed a behavior among myself and my friends—we use Find My Friends almost like a social network - keep in touch with what friends are up to. Friends will say things to me like "oh yeah I saw you at that restaurant on find my, how was it?"

Does anyone else do this too?

No, except for explicity asking for live location sharing via whatsapp. But, noticed this interesting trend in younger people.
