We should do a better job explaining. I don't think most people care about old casts? It's a 5-10% of users that really care about preserving everything.

I think there's a general expectation that casts are permanent, just because that's how it's always worked on most other platforms. Most people don't care about old casts until they realize that one cast they had bookmarked from years ago disappeared unexpectedly - then they'll care.

There might be a use case where the first one to bookmark something can pay gas (warps) to permanently store somewhere. He "owns" the cast. Subsequent bookmarks point to the same link.
