weird observation i posted this on twitter and warpcast, everyone seems to choose web as their primary platform and hardly anyone's exploring mobile what could be the reason? https://warpcast.com/vijeth.eth/0xa21c94

All the reasons already said, plus: Connect Wallet pops up another app and again for every transaction and signature request. So ethereum apps (in current typical paradigm, at least) don’t feel very integrated/native even as an app. Easier to just be a website where popups are more expected.

Web apps work on mobile but mobile apps don’t work on desktop.

I think that's because most of us need to have their idea validated before switching to mobile platform. And building for web its the easiest approach.

Think a big part of this is the App Store restrictions on crypto related things (like selling NFTs). Why risk the investment when you might get shut down by their market. Build on web first to prove product market fit, then hopefully you can make your way through the App Store

Tbh I think the real reason is that devs spend a lot of time at their monitor and they like to build for their own experience even though the vast majority of activity happens on mobile Differentiating between “just web” vs mobile first design on web is v important if you don’t do native mobile tbh
