Benevento is a city in the Italian region of Campania, the administrative center of the province of the same name. The patron saint of the city is the Apostle Bartholomew, whose relics have been kept here since the IX century in the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, so the city has always been very attractive for Christian pilgrims.
