oh!! so you write NZ as your place of living on here, but it's a dream.  Lisbon? I haven't been to Portugal yet, but would love to go and also to Madeira. I can sing in Portuguese a bit, but I can't speak it. Hmm, in 2026, I'll go to Spain for sure, so I'll stop by Portugal too. :)

You can sing in Portuguese? That’s amazing 🙌🏼 and for sure you should come visit this tiny country at the edge of Europe. There’s so much too see and everything is 1-2h drive 😅
Madeira is a pure gem! I’ll retire there when the age comes

Fado is one of our most biggest cultural treasures, and Madredeus were huge in the music scene until a few years ago. 
Portuguese has a lot of similarities with our neighbors language for sure. If speaked slowly it’s not hard to understand

I thought of being a digital nomad there - Madeira. For a month or so. I love fado and it's Madredeus that I can sing along with a bit. I understand some of it a bit too as I speak French. And also studied some Italian and Spanish before too. It's all a bit similar.
