Thank you for making the Philippines more based I hope you added some buffer time in Manila, the worst airport in the world (and explore the beaches)

Whoever wins the election can strongly influence the macro conditions using policy. Can't decouple the two for the sake of argument

I'm with Matt on listening to podcasts. I don't understand the appeal of summarizing podcasts with AI. A good podcast is something to savor like a a conversation with friends or any other form of creative medium

i agree there's a lack of good, original thinkers in the South. how would you go about changing this? It seems that most folks here relate to real, tangible problems rather than abstract intellectual debates. Southern culture is also deeply polite and insular, but I'd argue that is not all that different from cosmopolitan 'elite' circles.

AI content is inherently derivative. It's easy to tell something is made from AI by its soullessness and disposability. My fear is that AI content becomes so ubiquitous in the future that we lose our artistic intuition

If her general election head to head probability is 45-50% then multiplying that by being conditional on winning the nomination (92%) gives 40-45% of winning the general election. The former is obviously uncertain though. If you take her nomination as guaranteed then Kamala looks underpriced.

I agree that the how and the why are more fundamental than the what. All things being equal and living in the world we live in, I see no reason to vote for someone who reaches the wrong conclusion for the wrong reasons over the right conclusion over the wrong reasons.
