And then those who still want to build a product within this ecosystem… should we have its concept, process and feedback unconnected from this “kumbaya” mentality if this the mentality in these ecosystems?

I totally see the point of this, related to saving energy and time spent on trying to enter, be part or feed the “game of favors” you mentioned; and then use that time and energy to build a really compelling product that can go beyond.

Besides the trick or whatever the trick is within, there will always be people who find compelling a product that only works in this way 😓
