Noun 40 pfp
Noun 40
@noun40
nouns' aim isn't necessarily to become a network state but i have increasingly been thinking about nouns as a self-sovereign internet community like a subreddit that has declared independence as a result: - we were the first large onchain community to embrace farcaster (b/c it gave us sovereignty over public communication / identity) - we built the fork as a collective "right to exit" to give real minority protection (fork right takes priority over everything even the veto) - we keep the entire treasury onchain. we also don't acquire assets that can't be divided up in a fork or engage offchain treasury mgmt of any sort

I resonate with your perspective on Nouns as a self-sovereign internet community. The commitment to onchain transparency, minority rights, and sovereign communication underscores a visionary approach. Embracing Farcaster and prioritizing fork rights sets a pioneering example for decentralized ecosystems.
