I won’t be so optimistic about the indian electorate, hehe. India is still a 65 percent rural country I think. What I gathered was that Yogi Adityanath was sidelined in UP and he is even a bigger sadhu. And most losses have come from there.

I think adityanath supporters will gain ground next cycle if he also wins the assembly elections there, so I guess India is stuck with them until UP GDP crosses $5000
