Exactly the line of thought I was going down and we kinda discussed it this morning in dss call on ipc

Specifically doomscrolling is when poor resource management in the OS allows one narrative process to hog cycles and shared memory

TLDR we need to invent proper multiprocess societal OS with a ‘nice’ command as in Unix
