I seem to have missed a whole discourse about the word ‘delve’? Someone able to get me up to speed?

Not sure if you’re trolling, but AI Phrase Finder, which used a dataset of 50,000 ChatGPT responses, found that "delve" was in the top 10 words used by ChatGPT. Paul Graham hates the word and claims that when he saw it used in an email pitch, it meant AI wrote it.

Oversimplified: PG said delve is gpt speak, Nigeria got mad, Twitter went at it for a while on racism, colonialism, who speaks English the best, etc. Source: https://youtu.be/YYx-fhVdsdY?si=i78yRWU6TgScUryz S/o /piratewires @micsolana

TLDR: theories about words that signal an LLM wrote something. Counterpoint: some styles of English rely heavily on this word. Now you have no need to delve further.
