Summer of Protocols

Winner of our Terminological Twists protocol fiction contest. Noise Ordinance by Spencer Nitkey. 

What I liked about this is how it inverted my default sympathies. I really hate noisy neighbors and have even complained and in one case moved out of an apartment due to one. More generally I really dislike disturbances of the peace, like noisy festivals and partying. 

This is a dystopia defined by people like me having too much power.
