Ironically, neither communism, nor fascism, nor any lite versions in-between, are proxies for the Little Guy team. They’re all elite cons to capture the Little Guy team. You can tell because all of them try to valorize  the Little Guy as noble, heroic, wise, good, or whatever. The median little guy initially feels flattered, validated, and almost-seen, but eventually gets suspicious because he knows he is none of those things, at least not consistently. To truly be on the Little Guy team you have to start by acknowledging that the median little guy is mostly an asshole, most of the time, and so are you. The team’s challenge is to leverage the occasional lurches of exceptional behavior while building steady directional momentum out of the random impulses of mediocrity.
