In 1918, when Matsushita was 23 years old, he founded the Matsushita Electric Appliance Factory. Within a year, 20 people were employed there. The initial capital of the company was only 100 yen ($1), which Matsushita, with the help of his wife and brother-in-law (founder of Sanyo), provided and started the company. The experience he had gained as a young electrician at the Osaka Electric Company, and his father's strong advice and advice to take up an independent, non-governmental job, led him to produce and sell the screw-on lamp head, which he had been working on for a long time, as the first activity and product of the newly established company. After introducing two power converters to the market, he introduced bicycle lamp chargers under the "National" brand, and in 1925 he registered the trademark for the company. 0 reply
