Near-frictionless instrumentation of capital* is a vastly underrated use-case of crypto IMO .. but is also hard to package and sell to a broader audience. Not to mention it strikes at the heart of the middle-man economy. *Capital in the broader sense of the term (talent, ideas, physical assets, currency, debt, etc).

Focus less on the principles of decentralization and governance and more on creating products that people actually want to (and can) use. If you're building onchain - you probably already believe in these core tenants. What matters is making them accessible and exciting.

I built a "Snow Crash GPT" in 5 minutes, gave it the full text of the book, and it's been immediately helpful to explore the world of Snow Crash, ask questions, get visuals, etc. I'm... appreciative such a thing exists. It makes active reading 10x easier and more accessible. Give it a try if you can.

to me this feels like it has the long-term potential to be what actually onboards the average person to onchain life. example: via brand integrations, you can purchase that link to physical goods, or tickets to concerts or parties, or loyalty cards that offer discounts IN THIS APP and then hold it in your own wallet!!

the new mint UX is seamless. more seamless than instagram shopping or TikTok Shop and as seamless as ApplePay. this isn’t a crypto product, this is a consumer product. if you imagine the future of consumer + culture through this lens, the opportunities are limitless. i haven’t been this excited in a long time.

The chatGPT user adoption metrics - as compared to crypto - are not cause for doomerism IMO. _ chatGPT and similar have no incumbents (for all intents and purpose) _ crypto by contrast is trying to 'unseat' sovereign money and legacy finance Obv not an excuse for issues facing crypto .. just perspective
