What’s the long term scaling plan though? Even if you cap / charge for storage, there’s no way you’re gossiping reactions for 10mm users over a network of 300 nodes. At a certain point you sacrifice all 3

This seems like an anti-pattern; it bluntly mitigates the problem but creates worse downstream effects, e.,g discouraging quality users from posting to channels. Plus we need open-source moderation tooling that benefits entire dev community, not just Warpcast. Perhaps there could be working group around this

I remember that, PyTeal! I think teal / avm was just way too low level and restrictive for devs. No fancy wrapper was gonna make it comparable to writing solidity. Do checkout Tealish though, it’s a newer and much more readable wrapper around teal / avm https://tealish.tinyman.org/en/latest/

Looked at this two years ago and found the marketing around JS contracts being “easier” a bit misleading. They introduced some new and unintuitive concepts in the runtime that I found extremely confusing and unhelpful. Solidity is easier to read and write imo. For cosmos, personally a lot more bullish on cosmwasm

I’m still not convinced that we’ve nailed the channels construct imo token gated channels are a good use of onchain primitives but for general open channels we might be better served by auto-aI-tagging of posts, machine learning, and user controlled algos on what topics get into their main fred
