In the case, a [sponsored] quest refers to an advertiser offering a user some form of payment to complete an action in their app.

So you might open your wallet and be notified of an airdrop if you sign up for some protocol.

They need all users to be on the same platform to work (e.g. EVM)

To me, this is much more of a gaming / gamification pattern, not really a “crypto” one. I might be misunderstanding what a quest is?
