On token-gating I think it's conflating a tool for an outcome. People want to create vibrant and thriving community. Does token-gating enable that? Potentially, given the right product / UX and user base.

My $ 0.02 is that hard gates are the worst kind of token gates. What you probably want is a soft gate — personalized experiences based on your wallet. "Everyone can get in and do A, but only people holding X can do B."

Requires a fair amount of creativity and experimentation; but it's a great way to allow the public participate in the scene you're building, while rewarding early belief/deeper engagement.
