If Paul the Apostle had worked in web3, he'd have been a Sufficiently Decentralized™ and Web 2.5™ guy. Not enough is explained about how Paul helped reframe Christianity for the wider world.

Paul had a bunch of advantages over the other Apostles. 1. he got an elite education — which helped him in successful rhetorical arguments 2. he was a Roman citizen — making travel easier for him 3. he was a prolific creator — out-writing all the other Apostles

The OG Apostles had wanted non-Jewish converts to Christianity to adhere to Jewish law AS WELL AS Christian doctrine, including asking adult males to get circumcised. Paul knew that would be a death knell for their fledging movement. He fought to have joining requirements reduced to 3 simple rules.

I guess it depends whether you see it from an inspired view or more of a materialist view. The inspired view is that he was preaching on the new covenant (The jewish ceremonial laws were fulfilled through the death of Jesus).

I lean more towards inspired myself but I recognize a good lesson when I see it.
