“expectations” is one of the words I work with in monthly. it’s part of the B.E.N.D. framework of @thecurioushermit 

incidentally my explorations into expectations has been greatly expanded/deepened in recent months, even though we’ve been working on it in rotation for years! 

expectations is one of those words that are everywhere, and yet unspoken. by examining my own, I have learned much. 

I have always selflessly given to the point of overextending myself unconditionally and unconsciously. 

which is why we use it in collaboration with boundaries, needs, and desires. 

I am grateful to see your perspective on this, and I wonder what impact it will have on me as I ponder it! thank you lovely! 🥰🫶

There is no greater kindness you can do for yourself and someone else. 

I promise once you truly believe this and more importantly*do* this you will free yourself from the debilitating behavior of expectation. 

Expectations are poisonous because they wear blinders to explanation and empathy. They are generally speaking kryptonite to kindness. 

I didn't make the rules, I just abide them 🤷🏻‍♀️🫂
