It’s never too late to change course. 6 years ago, I was doing plumbing - digging ditches and crawling around in hot Florida attics for $15 an hour. Today, I have a great career doing something I enjoy, a beautiful wife that I’ve been chasing since high school, and a growing group of awesome friends here. Your future isn’t written. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Don’t be afraid to fail. It’s how you grow.

that work is *hard* hard. I don’t know how people can even do that. I keep thinking there has to be some people who enjoy working in challenging situations like this. and oh how I wish that we could all get together and figure out how to get each person to where they would thrive. and be able to afford to live well while doing so. hopefully someday sooner rather than later. 🫶
