A delightful picture. It's a beautiful place. Is this a man-made canal? What kind of river is this? Where is it located?😍👏🫶

It was not possible to find information about where the river is depicted in the painting by Cuban artist Tomás Sánchez "El río va". the work was created in 2020 and represents an internal landscape associated with the daily practice of meditation by the artist. To me, it's the Amazon.

I think Sanchez's paintings are fictional landscapes. But this does not in any way diminish the beauty of the surrounding space.I read about his work on the Internet. Thank you for meeting the great master of brush and canvas. The artist explains that his work is influenced by the practice of meditation. "The inner spaces I encounter during meditation become the landscapes of my paintings; the restlessness of my mind has turned into a dump," he writes. "When I paint, I experience meditative states; through meditation, I achieve unity with nature, and nature, in turn, leads me to meditation."
