*schismogenesis* Process where interactions amplify differences between individuals or groups, creating self-reinforcing divisions. The natural tendency to establish boundaries—self/other, in-group/out-group. Functions as both self-differentiation and group identification.

OK, I've been keeping an eye on your casts but you simply can't pop in here with schismogenesis without explanation! 😆 What's the plan?

lol I’m just a simple knowledge commoner sharing terms from my model of systems that have been useful in my practice of organizing and building systems of self-organization. Hope they may find use in the ever-evolving models and practice of others.

Are you influenced by Bateson in particular?

I take an interdisciplinary approach to locate repeating patterns across domains. From the cybernetics branch, certainly Bateson and their ecologies are foundational, but I’d say Simondon’s read on cybernetics and works on Phil of Tech consume may have influenced me more personally.
