I assume this community is probably one of the most open writing communities to AI, so I have to ask: how much AI involvement are you OK with in someone's writing? Do you care if you can't tell? Should it only help with rough drafts, rewriting, information gathering, nothing at all? Would love to hear people's limits.

I have experimented with building GPTs trained on previous essays etc. For now I have settled on three main use cases in my workflow: - create a “key takeaway” summary - “3 concrete ways to improve” a draft - sometimes I do voice transcriptions while walking outside, and have an AI structure it afterwards

The hard thing for me is retaining voice and brand while using AI. You can’t go generic. But for summarizing or laying the groundwork, it’s perfect for short form.

I think getting to the point and having relevant info is the most important So much AI stuff is superfluous or off topic. That’s more of a turnoff than anything

uh I use about 70% AI… Ps. There’s so much of My creativity that comes into reimagining the content. So you can barely tell the AI Involvement…
