Coal is dead in a few years, why are you mentioning coal power all the time? They are being turned off one by one. Your strawman Arguments are not subtle enough. Nuclear power is chosen because nobody pays the lifetime costs. You don’t know the damages yet.

Holy f^%#, it takes 703.800.000 years until uranium 235 is not deadly anymore! Really I did not know this. That’s like close to a billion years ffs, our sun burns out in 2-3bn years!

Yeah we are not done! This takes time, like e.g. building a decentralized social network :). I think we imported net 2% of all power, probably from France. Give us another 50 years and we will see. I didn’t know we halved our pollution output until now! We are integrated into a European power net, we will always trade power on the public market independent of its origin. If countries decide to go full nuclear selling cheap power without pricing in the final storage costs of fissure materials for centuries, every other energy source will lose and be more expensive. Usually something goes wrong and the company just files insolvency. The costs for final storage is payed by tax money in the end. Most companies do not exist for more than 100 years.

Really interesting, never compared the two countries. Doesn’t take any de-industrializing effects into account with everything moving to China but anyway.

I the context of the last few years I don’t think air pollution is the main contributor impacting us citizens IQ 😂. You have your opinion, I have mine. Everyone can do what ever he likes including building nuclear power.

I can barely read it, but it seems the data is off to the official numbers? Coal is e.g. 13% and not the big thing in the pic? Anyway, I think the past 10 years have shown in Germany it is possible to go into renewables. It actually works better than expected and we can do it without nuclear. It’s not the easy short way, but since when is the correct way easy. The green revolution is not something done within 10 years and I hope we will go further.

I respect you, but this is just stupid. Plutonium’s Half-life being 20k years something, Uranium 234 even 200k years+. Please don’t even start with Thorium. Storing this on ground will end in a disaster. Not now, not tomorrow, but all that will 100% find it’s way into the ecosystem at some point in time. Breeding reactors have a definite use case for war. But this is not what you mean in your context I would guess.

Humanity can’t handle it, and I have worked in Germany in Krumel. Let alone the US. Loving capitalism to the fullest will 100% lead to civilians having to pay for it later. Privatizing gainz, distributing losses on society. https://www.bge.de/en/asse/

Been in crypto for many years. This is the event that lets me reconsider to gtfo and never look back on btc or crypto. This scam shit of making every crime legal on chain is just not what I imagined crypto would evolve into.
