British Man Wants to Buy a Dump to Find 8,000 BTC James Howells, a British IT engineer, spent 10 years digging through a dump to find a hard drive that was mistakenly thrown away, containing 8,000 BTC ~ $500M. He recently lost his High Court case and could not convince Newport City Council to allow him to continue digging.
