Ethereum DEXs Lose Steam, Users Migrate to Base and Solana Following the market cooling, the number of wallets trading on Ethereum DEXs has dropped sharply to around 40,000 wallets/day, the lowest level in 12 months. Total volume in March also plummeted to $57 billion, down by half from the peak in December 2024. The ratio of DEX trading volume compared to CEX exchanges has not fluctuated too much, showing that users are not leaving DeFi, but are looking for more cost-effective options such as Base and Solana.
