Sorry, to clarify, are you saying you think there are no "non-convex" problems?

Yeah! Exactly! I read at the same speed as I speak, because I am literally speaking.

Some people read faster than others, of this I'm certain. My wife reads so fast it boggles my mind, and I've tested her comprehension because I couldn't believe it. My friend droqen reads extremely fast as well. I've never been able to, my mind wanders. If people read at different speeds it's reasonable to hypothesis that a person could train themselves to read faster. In fact, you _are_ a speed reader compared to when you were in elementary school.

Thanks! I love the DIY aesthetic of stuff like zines, and print-and-play boardgames. In this case the original cards were also printed on card stock and hand cut, so it really fits (those cards are worth in the realm of 30k a piece now though, mine probably won't catch up any time soon ;)).

Thanks for the intro! I've been working on game boy games in z80 assembly though, not gba (which I think is an ARM machine). It's a lot of fun working in a resource constrained environment and a great break from my Typescript day job.

I made a block pushing puzzle game called Ark, published by Ferrante Crafts. Right now I'm working on an rpg for people who enjoy the original Dragon Quest. https://ferrantecrafts.com/products/ark

Garfield mentioned the playtests in the 1995 mtg guide, so I've kind of always been aware of the set. What got me interested in playing with it was stumbling across an archive of all the cards, along with a bunch of interesting notes and comments. It's been lots of fun! Six of us are playing and every game is for ante. It's really interesting to experience the game in this state. It's wild how complete it feels. Even in this early form, it is compelling... We played six games in a row the first night! And interesting difference between gamma playtest and alpha is the inclusion of cards that affect ownership... If my pixies are unblocked, for example, I permanently exchange ownership of a random card in my hand. You can lose a game and come out feeling like a winner if you managed to snatch a powerful creature. Here's the archive I used: https://www.magiclibrarities.net/955-rarities-alpha-beta-gamma-playtest-cards-english-cards-index.html
