I have an obsession with being driven by people doubting me / what I'm working on. I genuinely love hearing it because just means there's a potential massive opportunity. Skepticism about:

- bitcoin when I joined Coinbase in 2014

- me as a first time fund manager in 2017

- building on top of Farcaster in 2023

Couldn't have said it any better. It's something about the underlying doubt from those around you that fuel you and it's not that they don't believe in you or know if you're capable but it's *what* exactly that you are doing that draws that skepticism.
