Telegram introduces a browser and app store Telegram has launched a browser and a store for "mini-apps" as part of a new update, announced the messenger's founder Pavel Durov. According to him, the browser allows users to switch between viewing websites and using the messenger itself, "combining communication with news browsing." "The Telegram browser supports viewing decentralized websites on the TON network — across all mobile apps and PC programs. This opens up access to Web3 opportunities for nearly a billion active Telegram users," the project team stated. They also noted that the update includes a new "Apps" tab where users can view a list of popular "mini-apps" as well as those they have used.
