Web Components are natively supported in the browser and will work across all frameworks

web components aside, my overall experience with Next.js over the years: 2.75/10

I still understand why it's popular and don't look down on anyone using it

mostly because it makes routing easy in react and you don't have to set up a bundler. back then it was hard. now you can use either astro or create-vite-app
