FIP: Extend Storage Expiry

- Give all existing storage units an extra free year to avoid user churn and unnecessary work for clients  

- Reduce the size of new storage units issued. Lets us bring down the cost of registration in the future.

We're looking for feedback on this, either in this thread or on Github. 

We'll be discussing this at the next protocol meeting on Aug 15 before we make a final decision. 

This change should be net positive for users and developers.

What will the reduction look like exactly? Also I believe the balance between the 3 storage „sectors“ is off (at least for me, but also for everybody I talked to), reactions has always been my only reason to buy more storage…
Would it be possible to reconsider this as well?

what's the main reason for preserving your old reactions? 

i usually just let mine expire, so im curious what people do with their older reactions

Is there a maximum limit to the storage I can have?

There is another problem with the storage actually. A bit unrelated but I’ll post it anyway. Buying 2 units via iOS does not activate the unites.

I had to request a refund a few times already and do it again one unit per transaction for it to work.
