These past couple of weeks I've been focused on making the Warpcast app feel faster. There is still more room for improvement but I'm happy to say that we've been able to move the needle. We did this by: - parallelizing more requests in the background - tweaking when we issue certain requests - lazy loading data into lists - lazy loading large resources such as videos We can already see improvements in some charts that haven't been easy to move before. I'm particularly happy that my Android feed loads much better as seen in the before and after videos in the replies. Please let me know if you see improvements and especially if you encounter any issues.

warpcast basically is useless on mobile data (jio 5g / india) so i am never able to use it when im travelling or something. supercast is a little slow too but bareable. warpcast? basically doesn’t work. (iphone 14 ios 18.1 tho issue’s been there always)

funnily enough i was trying to upload the screen recording while travelling and it basically never finished so i forgot about it and coming back to it after a day. here you go being conscious about it i think it’s gotten a little better than before but still pretty unusable. also a little hard to differentiate sometimes its just bad network (see recaster and supercast taking a while too) and sometimes its the app.
