Wrote up some thoughts on evolving Farcaster into a protocol for all social networks, and not just twitter-like ones Feedback welcome! https://hackmd.io/@farcasterxyz/Hyyt7NFb2

Interesting. dscvr, is a reddit-like platform deployed to a protocol for wasm32 hosts. Having other apps in the protocols ecosystem expands dscvr’s capabilities, js expands its usage imo. If frcstr had turning complete apps, similar would happen. More abstract primitives helps, but apps enhance it further.

I think there's a great opportunity for Farcaster to be the identity and data layer for other social micro-networks. I'm sure there are a lot of technical complexities with how they'd interconnect, but 'nothing worth doing' and so on an so forth. The future of non-Twitter-like interfaces hangs in the balance 🫡
