Will onchain signers support ERC 6492? Can a signer be verified based on code that doesn’t yet exist onchain, or must an event be emitted for initial signer setup to reduce RPC cu on hubs?

A signer is an EdDSA keypair, not ECDSA

When onboarding a new fid, does the custody address need to set this signer, or is the EdDSA key authorized by some other means?

Either with a direct transaction from the custody address or with an off chain proof from it that can be validated on chain
