Could you plz say more about the downsides of integrating xmtp for DCs?

I like the XMTP folks and their mission, but right now who do you want to talk to that is active on XMTP?

If we spent time ripping out DCs and integrating XMTP right now, we'd have: 
- Weaker encryption 
- More systemic complexity for clients 
- No material improvement for our users

Just having the XMTP messenger inside Warpcast¹ while having the chats² not confined to it would be awesome.

¹ an app I use multiple times per day as opposed to Coinbase Wallet which I kicked off my phone
² while currently the DMs are limited to Warpcast mobile and disappear after 28 days

agreed, its important to get DMs working on web and having longer persistence. have some plans to get there.
