Seems like it. Here is the response I got from Alchemy.

My hub isn't that significant (at least for now), its ok for it to be down a few days. I can wait for Alchemy to get back to me.

But this is indeed the first time I have been rugged by a centralized firm. They deactivated my account because I was running a hub. 

But that account wasn't just running a hub, I had other projects on that too. 

@v can you confirm whether the merkle team asked the RPC providers to boot hubs which are suspected to be farming a non existent airdrop? The language used by them in their response to me made me suspect that. Could be wrong though.
