@dwr.eth @v how do you exactly calculate d30 retention? what is the definition of a "retained" user that i can use in my analytics? do you measure by daily, weekly or other cohorts?

do you average that over some period or "my d30 retention is 20%" means that 20% of the users who signed up exactly 30 days ago logged in today? why using logging in instead of some more complex action like reaction or a post?

Amplitude has a nice tool that averages over a time period. You can pick anything you like, some are tougher to move than others
