According to @v we'll probably never see DNS support in Farcaster becasue even prominent devs in the community have poor DNS opsec. I wonder if @icebreaker has a better approach?

Never said that. I think DNS text verification for domains on your profile is a good idea, just not yet top priority.

that's about dns as primary identity (username) which i still feel the same way about this is about dns as a verification (badge on profile saying i also own xyz.com)

The context of the original cast was using DNS to badge people as members of that org for purposes of support. Given this context, I'd argue that this badging should have the same security guarantees as your username. (ie. if allowing DNS for badges, why not both)
