Art isn't seen as utility, but it should be. 

Market pressure to add utility on top of art is counter productive. 

Support an artist so that they can create more art, not so that they can create a videogame around collecting it.

If you see art as an investment, curate.

Sadly most see "art" here as the only "utility" it has is to give them profit. Now with WC many ppl aren't even collecting super cheap art. They prefer to also get payed to do so 😂

There have been some positive developments. The shift from artificial scarcity (SuperRare) to low-cost support (Zora) is positive, but there's something missing: curation.

Curation is how collectors can monetize without extracting value. I'm not sure we have the right tools to make this easy yet.
