Do you really want to become like existing major social media? You're participating in its destruction. Conceivably because there's something you don't like about it.

Misunderstanding: Do you spend more time on FC or Twitter? If the answer is farcaster, you're participating in w2 social's demise.

@ace you're noting virality's role in social media's success. I'm assuming you see the problem with w2 social considering your participation in w3 social. Perhaps vitality can be done more thoughtfully. 

I'm speaking broadly, not necessarily referring to today's game.

That will require a good deal of thought. I'm sure you're studying games. Lots of anti patterns to be weary of. A game can be addicting for longer than it takes someone to realize it's no longer fun.

Again, speaking broadly. Perl is awesome.

A thought: 

When suggesting artist battles today, it dawned on me that games can be positioned as events that highlight different communities and types of content. An [artist] battle is a way to draw ecosystem interest toward [art]. 

Celebrity will help with early retention, but there's wider potential.
