Excited about this evolution of channels!

– Would love to easily be able to see a list of channel members in Warpcast, especially highlighting fellow members that I don't follow yet (opportunity for new friends)

– Would love for existing members to be able to nominate new members (still an inbox for mods but should be much more focused and manageable) + tracking nominations for social accountability and context

– Would love to be able to invite net-new Farcaster users directly to my channel as a member via a streamlined onboarding flow

– Sad that the narrowcasting changes didn't make the cut, would rather get to the end of my feed each day in a healthy way that endless scroll (but understand that that's opposed to business interests)

– Still would love for some way to not see casts that are in channels I don't follow (whether from someone I'm following or not), one of my biggest annoyances with the current feed (and muting = whack-a-mole)

Things I'd like to see with the new channel model:

1. Member directory
2. Member nominations
3. Channel-specific invites
4. More relevant main feed

been saying member directory since channels dropped. WC should be the pokedex for FC. have to provide legibility to and facilitate connections within the network. would be huge!!

Content without context is yucky and this idea that there's not enough interesting content here is misguided VC speak. FC has always been about quality > quantity; people came and stayed bc of vibes and real conversations. WC should highlight the people that make it great and facilitate conversations between them. More interesting content will follow naturally.

Some small profile-centric examples:
-Quick links in bio (github, paragraph, zora, etc)
-Pinned post on profile
-Channels hosted

Visiting profiles is not as interesting or helpful as it could be and that's a shame. Better profiles + channel member directories feel like a flywheel for people and content discovery

Pokedex for FC should exist, unclear if that will be WC given their focus on content-first but someone should definitely lean into people-first
