Curation is perhaps the most misunderstood term in the space.

That one immediately thinks of art makes sense, because curation is indeed a creative act. 

In fact, curation is creation. An act of curation is an act of value creation.

But, it's doubly valuable, because it both produces and amplifies signal.

well said! individual curation is so important, and yet there isn't really a platform that's harnessed that power. it's less appealing than extractive biz models i suppose. i think the base layer is a social network, so i'm pumped that FC continues to grow

curating is adding instead of extracting. I've been doing it in photography, making diptychs and triptychs, adding value. Will start here as well
